What Can I Do To Help?
We need this news to be spread as far across the global C&C community as possible, so help us spread the word!
We could also really use some donations! Revora is a non-profit association, and so all proceeds go towards server costs and improving our infrastructure.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is C&C: Online?
A: C&C: Online is a GameSpy emulating server for modern Command & Conquer games. It’s based on our T3A: Online project for BFME, adapted to work for all the Command & Conquer games affected by the GameSpy closure (Generals, Zero Hour, C&C 3, Kane’s Wrath, Red Alert 3). After registering on Revora and installing our launcher, you’ll be able to continue playing the same way you could before the GameSpy shutdown.
Q: How can I start using C&C: Online?
A: Please read the setup instructions carefully.
Q: What are the advantages of C&C: Online as opposed to using VPN software (such as GameRanger)?
A: C&C:Online is intended as a direct continuation of the online experience you’re familiar with. You don’t have to launch multiplayer games through third-party software; instead you can keep playing the way you’ve always played.
Q: Can I use mods when playing online with C&C: Online?
A: Absolutely. Remember that your opponent will also need to have the same version of the same mod installed.
Q: Is C&C: Online a paid service?
A: No. Registering at Revora, downloading the C&C:Online launcher, and logging into our server is and always will be completely free of charge. Of course we appreciate donations to keep our infrastructure running.
Q: I lost my CD-key. Can I still use C&C: Online?
A: You can use C&C:Online so long as you haven’t cracked your games.
