Command & Conquer: Generals | Skirmish Maps (Page 3)
All new maps made by the fans for Command & Conquer: Generals. These maps can be used in skirmish games, they can also be used in multiplayer games. See our Multiplayer Maps page for more of those types of maps.
To install the maps simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\MAPNAME folder on your hard drive. The MAPNAME will of course be the name of the map. EG if a map was called "DesertStorm" you would extract contents of the .zip file to the \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\DesertStorm\ folder. Each zip file should be set up so the folder is created when you unzip it.

Dread Island v2.0 features Rvmech's "Almost Human AI" in a new night version altered to appear as early morning. Additional supply docks and new detailed water textures have also been added. I also added a few more sounds creating a new mood and fixed a few textures. Finally the attack routes (now 4) were repathed, and the start points were moved slightly. Battle the all new "Almost Human" AI in 1v1 mode for a real challenge with super weapons or try 2 vs 1 in a special "no super weapons" battle and see if you can kill two "almost human" enemies in a more traditional combat style! (Note : the AI will not build super weapons in 2v1 combat, you will have the option to build super weapons but I encourage you to try to win without them!).

1v1 map. The morning sun is shinibg while you are in the battle for resources. There are 3 ways for a rush. Attack the enemy from more than one side and keep the money flowing.

This is a big 500 x 500 map for 3 players with a big area for base construction. Lots of supplies and some extras. There is a neutral Scud Storm to capture so be quick.

The Forge

This is quite a simple map as it has been designed to be played on - not looked upon!. But still quite interesting to play with. It's very low detail allowing the game to run much faster, making this ideal for online or network play. Try using Jarmen Kell (if your playing as GLA) and hiding him behind one of the 'pillars' in the center of the map, much to your opponents dismay!

Up Hill Battle

This is a very large 400x400 map that supports 4 players. Optimised for online play so don't expect to see lots of eye candy. Play a few skirmish games with 1 Hard, 1 Brutal and 1 Normal AI to learn the map. Take advantage of the Derricks use the bunkers provided to help defend them. Defend the choke points to your base. The rest is up to you to find out. Don't forget to take the Nutter's Challenge, play against 3 Brutal AI on team 2 with you on team 1 on a game speed no less than 50!

Dueling Castles

This map is great for long battles with huge armies. Easily defendable bases with one choke point entrance. Two oil derricks are within each base. Huge walls guard the base. The city in the center of the map consists of a lot of eye candy, but there are some useful things available. There is also a train that goes around the map.

Bad Neighbour

This is small 1on1 map that gives you a quick battle, but also a unusual kind of battle
that i think is pretty unique. It can be played in multyplayer and skirmish mode, although the CPU isn't a good anemy in this map and will be pretty easy to win from.
