Command & Conquer: Generals | Skirmish Maps (Page 6)
All new maps made by the fans for Command & Conquer: Generals. These maps can be used in skirmish games, they can also be used in multiplayer games. See our Multiplayer Maps page for more of those types of maps.
To install the maps simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\MAPNAME folder on your hard drive. The MAPNAME will of course be the name of the map. EG if a map was called "DesertStorm" you would extract contents of the .zip file to the \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\DesertStorm\ folder. Each zip file should be set up so the folder is created when you unzip it.

 This is a 2 player map taking place in the late afternoon in a Snow environment. Plenty of room to expand your base, and an adequate supply of cash to keep your army on the go. Easily defendable base locations. Concrete bunkers scattered near the perimeter of the each player's base. Buildings to garrison your troops in. A few Oil Derricks available for capture. Some goodie crates scattered around the map including money crates and free Crusader Tank crates. Just look for the "Snowman" and you'll find surprises in those areas!

Urban Dread

 "Urban Dread" is a realistic recreation of my childhood hometown on Long Island, NY. Details include a baseball field, 10 residential blocks, a parkway, river, commercial areas, beach front property... GLA will enjoy hundreds of civilian cars to use. Ground troops can control over 100 residential homes. A good amount of time was spent building this map. This map to run poorly on low end machines.

Lemon Drop

 Lemon Drop is a large 2 player map set on another world! Two different versions of this map are provided with this release. "Infantry War" is a lighter version with different ambient sounds and three capturable barracks. If playing in skirmish mode, be sure to place the computer in the BLUE upper right side if fighting USA as he will not do well in the other start location.

Z-ArenA

 Z-ArenA is a 1 vs 1 tournament style map and comes in both day and night versions. A good deal of thought went into the design and layout of this map so that it offers a diverse selection of attack and defense methods. Although small in size, expect long and furious battles if both players make it past the first few minutes!

Desert Express

 Run over the bridges to get to the oil derricks for some quick case flow. But watch out, you don't want to get run over by the train, because it shares the same bridges as you do. There are 2 oil derricks per player and 2 supply docks. A think before you battle map.

The Otherside

 The main attraction is the massive gorge leading from one corner to the opposite corner and two bridges running across it. There are two supply docks at each base start and there is one hospital and two oil derricks one both side so there is plenty of money to go round.

Master of Puppets

 Master of Puppets is a medium sized map with 2 small fishing villages north and south and "Sparkle Ville" on the high plateau in the middle with 2 bridges extending east and west of the map. There are 9 supply docks, 4 oil derricks, 12 small supply piles for resources.

The Mountain Raid

 The Urban area is being terrorized by the mountain terrorists north of the government compound. It's up to you to choose which side you will enforce. You can use the little military compound and build your way to attain offensive superiority and level the threat or you can be the terrorist themselves, use the mountain as your shield and prevent total annihilation and claim the area as yours. AI enabled, brutal AI recommended for maximum gameplay satisfaction, 3 oil derricks and one oil refinery on each base for each side to capture, The military compound is given 10 free Crusader Tanks (from crates) for offensive advantage, Terrorist Faction compound has about 5 to 8 $2500 crates for defensive purposes.
