Command & Conquer: Generals | Skirmish Maps (Page 8)
All new maps made by the fans for Command & Conquer: Generals. These maps can be used in skirmish games, they can also be used in multiplayer games. See our Multiplayer Maps page for more of those types of maps.

To install the maps simply extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\MAPNAME folder on your hard drive. The MAPNAME will of course be the name of the map. EG if a map was called "DesertStorm" you would extract contents of the .zip file to the \My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps\DesertStorm\ folder. Each zip file should be set up so the folder is created when you unzip it.

This is a replica of the Red Alert Aftermath map "Arena Valley Extreme". Hard to compare the 2 games, because of the difference in cash collection and tank buildtimes. Suits both skirmish and multiplayer games.

Back and Forth
[Downloaded times]
In the centre lies a large elevated plateau divided by a road where two players start, the other two players start to the NW and SE. The map is meant to be defensively very appealing (especially if you’re in the middle). The map uses RVMECH’s “Almost Human” AI.

Bayside Conflict
[Downloaded times]
Bayside Conflict features 3 Oil Derricks (1 in the SW and 2 in the NE), 1 Oil Refinery (In the middle), 1 Hospital (In the SE), 1 Nuclear Power Plant (In the NE). Many civilan vehicles are available for terrorist use. A few secret ones have extra armor allowing them to take more hits, but it's up to you to find them. All special buildings have around 50% more hit points than normal. Some large-class civilan vehicles have extra hit points.

Cry Me a River

A river runs from the North West to the South East dividing the 4 players (2 on each side). In the centre lays a small town between two bridges, whilst to the far North is a mountainous region rich in supplies where the river begins its journey. Oil bonuses are to the rear of the starting positions, so be quick. The map uses RVMECH’s “almost Human” AI.

Frost Valley

This is a six player map designed for 3vs3 teamplay. The teams start at each side of the frozen Valley (It´s supposed to be a semifrozen river running across the map). The bases are protected by mountains but the three entrances to each base are quite large. Below the bases are one additional supply dock for each player, but these are not that easy to defend. Along the river there are some oil derrics to capture and some villages to garrison.

Desert Refuge

This is a four player skirmish map set deep in the heart of the desert. Between the two pools of water lies a town rich in supplies, and ripe for the picking. Pairs of oil derricks lie behind each base to keep the cash flow from drying up. The map uses RVMECH's "Almost Human" AI script.

Bay of Pigs 2

Remake of the old Red Alert 2 map called "Bay of Pigs". For anyone who never played "Bay of Pigs" before it's a symmetrical map with lots of room to build and loads of cash to spend! This map uses RVMECH's "Almost Human" AI script.

Fight The River
[Downloaded times]
This is a 2 player map. The bases are split up by a river which runs across the map, there are 4 bridges over it. Each player starts with one supply dock and there are two additional docks available plus some small supplies. At the extra supplies are some great looking villages. The base areas are open and have 3 wooden watch towers spread out on the edge. The AI plays very well on this map. It builds well, uses all resources, attacks on all different paths and is quite hard on brutal.
