BigPOP Command & Conquer: Generals Data Editor v0.6b - Full Install with VB6 Runtimes

The BigPOP Command & Conquer: Generals Data Editor is the new name of the program formally known as the Generals BIG Archive Extractor. This program allows you to view and extract files from BIG archives, the file format used by Generals to store all its data files. BigPOP is no longer just an 'extractor'. It will eventually become the tool to use for editing Generals. It replaces files, saves BIGs, and is slowly building support for the file formats. The in-file editing feature is also noteworthy, as it slowly starts negating the need to extract files.
This download includes the VB6 Runtime files that are required. Many changes and bug fixes included in this version. Consult the readme.txt once installed for details. Make sure you download the latest patch for this program as well.

BigPOP Command & Conquer: Generals Data Editor 0.72b - Upgrade from v0.7b/v0.6b

This patch updates the BigPOP Command & Conquer: Generals Data Editor v0.7b to 0.72b. New features are support added for Zero Hour BIG files. Issues arising from changes being made internally and not actually affecting the game should be resolved, renamed a few GUI labels, interpreters/modules and updated the 'About' box, updated BIG file interpreter and CSF file interpreter, fixed a bug with the CSF interpreter that would prevent the opening of CSF files that contained more than 4,096 string entries, fixed a memory issue that was causing BigPOP to consume far more memory that it should, Fixed several serious issues with the BIG interpreter.

CkMp/DEM Tool - The Generals DEM Project

This project aims to provide a way for map builders to start a new map using terrain data from a DEM (digital elevation map) instead of starting from a flat surface. Currently, DEM data can take the form of an 8-bit grayscale BMP image, or a Terragen TERRAIN map. This tool can be of great use to all the Generals map makers out there.

FinalBIG v0.4b

FinalBIG supports opening and extracting BIG files. Extracting also supports creating all necessary sub-directories for the BIG file. Some important improvements in this version are, deleting files, renaming files, drag & drop for adding files & directories, including the folder name when inserting a directory instead of skipping it. Recently added is an image viewer for DDS, BMP and TGA and a very a simple W3D viewer. Support for Battle for Middle Earth and more recently, Empire at War's MEG files. The latest version has these new features, W3D Viewer now displays (almost) all W3Ds correctly, including skins, JPEG and PNG support, image viewer now uses correct aspect ratio (if width!=height), Manual rotation and zooming possible in W3D viewer, an INI editor and a quicksave option. INI Editor extended: Lists modules & values and allows to set values, Adding a file to a BIG that already exists will now overwrite the original file (you'll be asked), It may now be possible to open BIG files of other games than Generals/LOTR if the file format is compatible, Added external editor support, meaning you can directly edit all files inside the BIG without extracting first.
