The Allies: Structures
The Allies have a few new structures to add to their offence and defence strategies. Below you can find descriptions of the structures.
| Construction Yard |
Description: The heart of your base, the Construction Yard builds all of your structures. If you lose this, you will not be able to build any other structures...so you better protect it. |
| Concrete Wall Section |
Description: Just what the name implies. These walls block tanks from moving and troops from getting in, forcing units to destroy them first. Some units may be able to fire over them. |
| Power Plant |
Description: The building to the left is either a Power Plant or an Advanced Power Plant...we're not sure at this point. In any case, The Power Plant provides a set amount of power to your other buildings. If you do not have enough power to power your buildings they will work much slower and will become damaged over time. Other buildings may stop working completely without power. Always make sure you have enough. |
| Barracks |
Description: The Barracks produces all your infantry units. |
| War Factory |
Description: The War Factory produces all your land vehicles. |
| Battle Lab |
Description:The Battle Lab is an advanced version of the War Factory allowing you to build more advanced units. |
| Service Depot |
Description: During the course of a battle, your units will become damaged. Moving a damaged vehicle into a Service Depot begins the repair process. Repairing damaged vehicles costs credits, with the cost depending on the severity of the damage to the unit. |
| Naval Yard |
Description: The Naval Yard produces all naval vessels. |
| Ore Refinery |
Description: The Ore Refinery (Soviet version shown) is where the Chrono Miner/War Miner docks and unloads its cargo of Ore and/or Gems. These will in turn be converted into credits (money). |
| Ore Purifier |
Description: This unique Allied structure yields 20% more credits out of every load of ore and/or gems than normal. |
| Pillbox |
Description: The Pillbox is a defensive structure exactly the same as a real-life Pillbox...essentially a bunker with a machine gun and a few sandbags. Perfect for mowing down troops. |
| Patriot Missle Site |
Description: The Patriot Missile Site is another defensive structure which, like the real-life version, can take down enemy aircraft and (possibly) incoming missiles. |
| Prism Tower |
Description: A powerful base defense for the Allies. Prism Towers fire a concentrated beam of light at any approaching enemy ground units. If Prism Towers are placed close enough together, they can fire one large, powerful beam by targeting each other and combining light beams on the target. |
| Spy Satellite Uplink |
Description: When built, the Spy Satellite Uplink completely removes the shroud, showing all locations on the battlefield and on the Radar display. |
| Gap Generator |
Description: When the Gap Generator is deployed, it creates a shroud over a wide radius, hiding the Allied base from Soviet radar. The Gap Generator requires a great deal of power to maintain. |
| Air Force Command |
Description: The Air Force Command gives the Allies a limited radar and enough space to land four aircraft. |
| Chronosphere |
Description: The Chronosphere allows you to teleport units across the map. You can also use it on your enemies, by "grabbing" a few tanks and dumping them into, say, the ocean. |
| Weather Control Device |
Description: The Weather Control Device allows the Allies to create thunder storms anywhere on the map (ideally an enemy base). The lightning bolts are capable of destroying infantry, buildings, and units with just a few strikes. |
